BotSafe operates botsafe.xyz and provides Telegram group management tools under the “BotSafe” brand. Our bots help admins secure and analyze groups with smart automation. We’re a small team dedicated to making Telegram communities safer and smarter.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what’s necessary to run our bots effectively:

• Group Data:

  • Chat IDs to identify groups where our bots are active.

  • Messages and join events (for @BotSafePulse) to track activity stats like message counts and new members.

  • Ban-related data (for @AutoBanning_Bot) such as usernames, display names, and ban triggers (e.g., “admin,” custom terms).

• User Data:

  • Telegram User IDs of group admins for command access (e.g., /addbanterm, /stats).

  • Whitelisted usernames (Premium feature) to exempt specific users from bans.

• Payment Data:

  • Transaction details via Telegram Stars (e.g., amount, date) for Premium subscriptions.

  • When Cryptomus crypto payments launch, we’ll process order IDs and payment status, but not wallet addresses directly (handled by Cryptomus).

• Technical Data:

  • Logs of bot interactions (e.g., command usage, errors) with timestamps for troubleshooting, stored on our server (217.154.55.110).

We don’t collect personal details like real names, emails, or phone numbers from Telegram unless you email us directly.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use this data to:

• Provide Services: Auto-ban suspicious users (@AutoBanning_Bot), generate group stats (@BotSafePulse), and process commands.

• Improve Functionality: Analyze usage (e.g., ban stats) to enhance bot performance.

• Manage Subscriptions: Track Premium access via Stars or future Cryptomus payments.

• Support: Respond to inquiries sent to hello@botsafe.xyz.

Data like chat IDs and ban triggers are tied to group functionality—nothing more.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Storage: Data is stored on our secure server (217.154.55.110) in JSON files (e.g., group_activity.json, ban_analytics.json). Payment data is processed via Telegram or Cryptomus, not stored locally beyond subscription status.

• Security: We use standard encryption (e.g., server-side HTTPS) and access controls to protect data. Only BotSafe admins access it, and we don’t share it unless required by law.

• Retention: Group data persists while the bot is active in your group; it’s deleted if the bot is removed. Logs are kept for 90 days, then purged.

5. Third-Party Sharing

• Telegram: Bots operate via Telegram’s API, so chat data passes through their platform (see Telegram’s Privacy Policy).

• Payment Providers: Stars data goes through Telegram; future Cryptomus payments follow their terms (see Cryptomus Privacy).

• No Ads or Sales: We don’t share data with advertisers or third parties for marketing—ever.

6. Your Rights

• Access: Email hello@botsafe.xyz to request data tied to your group or User ID.

• Deletion: Remove the bot from your group to stop data collection; request full deletion via email.

We’re not GDPR-bound (assuming no EU base), but we honor these rights globally as a courtesy.

7. Cookies and Tracking

• Our website (botsafe.xyz) doesn’t use cookies or trackers yet. If added (e.g., for analytics), we’ll update this policy and notify users via @BotSafeXYZ on X.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our bots are for Telegram group admins, typically 13+ per Telegram’s terms. We don’t knowingly collect data from kids under 13. If you’re a parent with concerns, email us.
